Wu Ping-Hai is a cinematographer, sound recording engineer and documentary filmmaker. A graduate of the Department of Landscape Architecture of Chung Hua University, he started to make documentaries after participating in a filmmaking workshop organized by the Hakka Affairs Council and founded the South Hard KKA Video Studio. He is the cinematographer for "In Perpetual Nostalgia: Tales of the Military Dependents' Villages in Literature" and the director of "Wenhsiang's World of Imagination", "Tea or Tree”, and “Wounds – Veterans' Stories".
