Cinematography

Li Wei-Chieh spent years producing and filming “Gongliao Terraced Paddies: A Chronicle of Hoho Village”, documenting the agricultural landscape of a mountain village as well as conservation of its ecosystem and cultural heritage. He also directed “The Oriental Honey Buzzards of Ninety-nine Peaks”, which won the Grand Prize at the Japan Wildlife Film Festival and the Golden Bell Award for Best Cinematography, followed by ecology documentaries such as “Beemania: Bees and Wasps of Taiwan” and “Fly! Mountain Hawk-Eagle”.
