A-chao doesn't like studying. He only likes fighting and creating a ruckus. He often makes his supervisor angry. A-chao has invented his own fighting style, and having beat up all his foes he now gets his way wherever he goes. The student Siao Ci is not well. She has to constantly wear a mouth cover and is therefore often ridiculed by other students. A-chao and Siao Ci become good friends. A gang of hooligans is bullying students and collecting money. When they see that A-chao will not give in to their bullying, their leader keeps creating trouble for A-chao. Siao Ci's father opposes her friendship with A-chao, and in a fit of anger, Siao Ci runs away from home. Shen then takes ill, and is sent back to Taipei. A-chao loses his motivation for participating in the "Model Student" election and returns to his old ways. A-chao doesn't hesitate to do what is right and beats the odds to become "Model Student."
