Alone in the mountains, Old Ji harvests a modest amount of wet rice. One day, a traveler, Chin arrives. Old Ji leaves the house in her care and goes away. But the sudden arrival of a mysterious Japanese girl expels Chin from the house. Old Ji appears in a hospital, carelessly bathing a young man who is severely disabled.
