A man has a dream where he sees a huge cocoon and finds that he has turned into a beetle. When he is startled from this dream, the man finds himself in the hospital, sitting besides his ex-girlfriend, who is in a coma. It has been a long time since he has seen her, but he nevertheless decides to stay with her during her last moments. Later on, when he goes to her apartment, the memories of their past overwhelms him as scenes from their painful breakup reappear in his mind, stirring up feelings of fear and a deep sense of guilt that he has kept bottled up inside of him.Suddenly, his ex-girlfriend appears before him.
