3 Years on: The Inspiring Stories of Taiwan's Fire Explosion Survivors

At the “Color Play Asia” event on June 27, 2015, colored dust at a water park caught fire, sparking an explosion that left 508 injured, 199 in critical condition. The explosion is not only a news event or a public security accident, but also a life of the 500 people.

Wanderland records the three-year physical and mental recovery of the third-degree burns survivors, and their willpower to recover. Through the poetic and sensitive points of view, the documentary records 4 dialogues of the wounded and their times in the darkness. While outward optimism was “courage out of necessity,” a survivor said “It was a dicult path. I hope our experience would give courage to other victims.
