Xiaying was a crucial stronghold of the Taiwan Peasant Groups in the 1920s and fell into oblivion in the White Terror amid pro-communist struggles after the World War II. This film based on a memoir by political prisoner Shui-Liu Hung comprises images collected with three local youths and represents the past events/spirit through 27 scenes in Xiaying in the form of polaroid.
