Graduated from Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary & Film Archiving of Tainan National University of the Arts, Pei-Yi Hsin has rich experience of participating in film festivals. Her works have been shortlisted for Golden Harvest Awards, Women Make Waves International Film Festival, Hangzhou Asian Film Festival, and screened at DOC Outlook International Market at Visions du Réel, Switzerland. Her work, Lives with Illness, explores mental illness and family history, and won the Audiovisual Media Grants from National Culture and Arts Foundation. Her work in recent years revolves issues of white horror; she has participated in Green Island Human Rights Art Festival.
