CHANG Hwa-kun has worked in Taiwan film industry for over two decades, with a stunning list of credits to his name, specifically as the producer for all of HOU Hsiao-hsien's early films, including the classics "A Time to Live and A Time to Die," "Dust in the Wind," and "City of Sadness," among many others. His films consistently receive rave reviews internationally, and he can be credited with significantly raising the quality and awareness of Taiwanese films over the years and bringing them onto the international stage. In recent years, he has been focusing on working with the new generation of young directors as well as developing co-productions with international film directors and producers.
