Zeng graduated from the Tainan National University of the Arts' Graduate Institute of Studies in Documentary & Film Archiving with a documentary film as her graduation project. Her works embody sincerity and passion for issues spanning family, sport, politics, history, and ethnic groups. She applies different forms of filmmaking in accordance to the uniqueness of each content. Zeng has won several accolades from the Golden Harvest Awards, Taiwan International Documentary Festival Awards, Golden Horse Awards.
