Born in 1975, Guang-Yao Fan graduated from Chinese Drama Department and Theatre Arts Department of College of Arts of Chinese Culture University, and served as a drama lecturer at domestic colleges and universities.In 1990, he began to work in performing arts and his works spanned Chinese comic dialogue, stage plays, television shows and films. In 2005, he won Best Actor of Golden Bell Awards with his performance in Villain.In 2009, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor of Golden Bell Awards with Time Story.In 2017, he was nominated for Best Actor in a Television Series of Golden Bell Awards with Q series’ Love of Sandstorm. His outstanding performances are well received.
