Lu Sheng-fei was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan in 1975. Since 13, Lu has started playing MIDI and electronic synthesizer. After graduating from Fu Jen Catholic University with a degree in electronic engineering, he has been working as a music arranger, composer, and session musician in the record industry since 1996. He has also composed film scores for several films, with "Cape No. 7" winning the Best Original Film Score at the Golden Horse Awards in 2008.
