Born in 1984, Mark Chao is the son of the senior actor Shu-Hai Chao.In 2009, he made his acting debut in TV series Black & White and won Best Leading Actor in a Television Series of Golden Bell Awards. In 2010, he was nominated for both Best Actor and Best New Talent of Taipei Film Awards with Monga.
