Luantan Ascent’s real name is Tai-Hsiang Chen. Born in Yilan in 1970, heisa Taiwanese rock musician. In the early stage of his career, he was the lead vocalist of the rock band Luantan. He has begun to use the name "Luantan Ascent" to release solo albums since 2002 and has won the Best Mandarin Male Singer of Golden Melody Awards with the album "Me in Place of You".In addition, he took part in composing film theme songs and was nominated for the Golden Horse Award several times.Among these nominations, he won the Best Original Film Song Award with "Perfect Landing" for the film Jump Ashin!
