Director

After graduating from Department of Motion Picture of National Taiwan University of Arts, Yu-Yu Yang studied at American Film Institute and earned her master’s degree in production. She has served as a co-producer in several films, including Little Big Women, End of Summer, and Detective Chinatown Vol. 2. She also served as the executive producer for the web series, Never Stand Still. Penguin Girl (2021), a fantasy romance film she wrote and directed, was nominated for Asia International Competition Best Short Award at Short Shorts Film Festival and Asia and Best Fiction Short of General Slate of Golden Harvest Awards. Penguin Girl was also selected into Golden Horse Film Project Promotion in 2021 and being adapted into a feature film.
