Director
Born in 1991, Qui-Rong Gong earned the MFA from Department of Motion Picture of National Taiwan University of Arts. She grew up in hot Kaohsiung City, studied film in Tainan, and now lives in Taipei. She contemplates about life and sees all kinds of life through movies. She believes that movies not only reflect reality, but also approach reality. Her directing works have a realistic and restrained style, mostly depicting and focusing on the emotions of the characters. Her works have been nominated for the 53rd Golden Bell Awards and Golden Harvest Awards, and selected into Women Make Waves International Film Festival. Her works include The Voices, Missing, One Woman, etc.
