Wang Ping-Wen
Director
Wang Ping-Wen (1987-) is a director. She obtained her MFA degree in film from Loyola Marymount University in the U.S. She was nominated at the Women Make Waves International Film Festival for the first time with her master graduation film "Labyrinth" and won the golden award at this festival with the short film "Military Dog". "A Journey in Spring" co-directed with Peng Tzu-Hui won the Silver Shell for Best Director at the Festival de San Sebastián in Spain and was shortlisted for the Golden Horse Award for Best New Director; it was also selected for the New Directors/New Films Festival in New York. Her other works include "The Clown", "Between Us", etc.
