Sung Tien-sheng is a senior gaffer who has been working in the film industry for over 30 years. He has partnered with several notable directors, including Hou Hsiao-hsien, Wu Nien-jen, and Chang Tso-chi, making "A Borrowed Life," "A City of Sadness" and "Thanatos Drunk" collaboratively. He was nominated for Best Lighting at the Golden Bell Awards in 2000. Later he also worked as a cinematographer, and won the Golden Bell Award for best cinematography for "Old Time Photo Studio" in 2011.
