Costume Designer
Liao Su-jen is a senior Taiwanese makeup artist. Liao started her career in film industry as a makeup artist assistant in 1974. In 1980, she got promoted and served as the makeup artist for "My Native Land." Later she has worked for numerous films including those by directors Lee Hsing and Hou Hsiao-hsien.
She has earned several nominations for Best Makeup & Costume Design at the Golden Horse Awards. Having engaged in doing makeup and costume design for Taiwanese films for decades, Liao's dedication has earned recognition with Golden Horse Awards nomination for Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year.
