Taiwan had once been ridiculed as the land of piracy. In recent years, the Government has been promoting cultural and creative industry in the hope of transforming Taiwan from a place where goods are manufactured into a place where goods are designed. But what is “design?” Why do we need “design?” Does design make our lives better or relationships happier?
