Director , Scriptwriter
Chang Yao-Sheng (1975-) is a screenwriter, a director, and an author. He obtained a master’s degree in filmmaking from the Taipei National University of the Arts and has won the First Prize for Novel at the China Times Literary Awards. His short film "Fresh Meat Pie" and animated short "Seam" were shortlisted for Golden Harvest Awards, Golden Bell Awards, and Taipei Film Awards.”A Leg” is the first feature he directed. He has written the following screenplays: "A Sun", "A Leg" and "The Falls", which were nominated for the Golden Horse Award for Best Original Screenplay for three consecutive years; he won this award for "The Falls". He is also the screenwriter for "The Village of No Return" and "Kids".
