On his 18th birthday, Jan-Wen (played by Joseph Huang), a taciturn boy, commits a random homicide in a night market with a DIY gun, and nobody knows the reason. A-Sing (played by Devin Pan) who always plays video games and draws comics with Jan-Wen does not believe his best friend kills on purpose and attempts to find proof. Xiao-Sheng (played by Hao-Zhe Lai), the only dead victim, was an unknown civil servant but ranked highly as a king in the video game King's World.

The night of the killing, Xiao-Sheng was waiting for his fiancee Vita (played by Pei-Jia Huang) who worked overtime. Vita feels very guilty and reconsiders why working overtime every day. At the same time, she unexpectedly discovers Xiao-Sheng might have cheated on her before his death.

In King's World, Lin-Lin (played by Yu-Xuan Wang) disguised herself with the portrait of an influencer and charmed Xiao-Sheng to give her treasure. But in reality, she is just a young gangster living in Dawn Building. Mold (played by Tzu-Yi Mo) planned to report about the building and arranged an interview with Lin-Lin in the night market. Accidentally, Mold became the witness who subdued Jan-Wen…
