Chi-Wen Chen specializes in cinematography with diverse styles. The films that he participated in include Sen Sen, Who Killed Cock Robin, The Tag-Along 2, etc. He was nominated Best Cinematography Award of Golden Bell Awards three times with Upstream, The Island That All Flow by and The Perfect Past of IF. In 2017, he won Best Cinematography of Golden Harvest Awards in the general category with In the Land of the Blind. In 2023, he was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 25th Taipei Film Awards with "Who’ll Stop the Rain". His recent works include "Marry My Dead Body", "Coo-Coo 043", "Man In Love", and "The Silent Forest".
