Chang Tso Chi Film Studio was founded by Chang Tso- Chi in 1998. True to the independent spirit, Chang Tso- Chi’s second feature Darkness and Light (1999) was the studio’s inauguration work, followed by his third feature The Best of Times (2002). Both films received subsidy funding from Taiwan’s Government Information Office, while the latter also received investment from NHK,
Japan. Chang’s latest work is A Time in Quchi (2013).
Chang Tso Chi Film Studio is currently active in acquiring production equipment and facilities, while taking the initiative to provide film training for students and young people. The Studio is also involved with TV drama production.
