Three Times, Three Identities, Three Love Stories… In the 1970s, computers were not yet invited and there’s still such a thing called censorship, Hsiu-Chu, a 25-year-old woman who never fell in love, worked in an old-fashioned printing store and spent all her time with ink. One day a neat, good-looking boy came to the store with lyrics of banned songs in his hands, Hsiu-Chu’s life was not monotonous anymore. Mei, 22 years old, has just been through a breakup and is told a true story—in the 80s, a woman moved into a madhouse by faking insanity so that she could wait for her lover without being disturbed. One day in 2010, 40-year-old “Juliet” is broken-hearted and goes into the mountains, trying to commit suicide. The moment “Juliet” puts the rope around the neck, a commercial-shooting crew somehow shows up and gets in the way. Then “Juliet” meets someone that is more obstinate about love.
