KHAN ENTERTAINMENT CO., LTD., a film production and distribution company in Taipei, Taiwan,is founded in 2013 by famous Taiwanese director Khan LEE, younger brother of the Oscar-winningdirector Ang LEE. . KHAN produces Taiwanese/Chinese motion pictures, TV films and series. Khan Lee is currently heading an ambitious platform called “Project Pushing Hands.” Supported
by Ang Lee, the project is aimed at cultivating young talents, carrying out production plans and distributing the films to worldwide territories. Several productions under this production platform are completed, including Stars, Yang Yang and Juliets.
Also, operated by Jessica CHEN, KHAN acquires independent films from global markets for distribution in the theatrical, DVD and TV media. Some of KHAN’s notable releases include “Departures”, Oscar’s Best Foreign Language Film in 2009, “The Chorus”, Goodbye, Lenin!”, “You Won't Get to Live Twice (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara)”, the second top grossing Indian release in Taiwan, “The Butterfly”, and “Love me if you dare”.
