YTLHB is a fully-integrated production company specializing in film, TV, music videos and commercials in Taiwan. The company name derives from the union of three animals - the dragon, the tiger and the cougar – to reflect the company’s stand for integrity, audacity, and flexibility. YTLHB was established in summer 2001 by Roger Huang and Hsia Shao Yu. Huang has produced the highest-grossing Taiwan movies in the last 5 years, including “20 30 40”, “Double Vision”, and “Formula 17”; and Hsia is the most in-demand art director in Taiwan whose works include Berlin and Cannes entries “Betelnut Beauty” and “Blue Gate Crossing”. Since then, YTLBH has gathered a group of partners with a similar ideology. What has emerged is a new production force in Taiwan, dedicated to creating timeless works with passion and undying enthusiasm. Providing a professional and open environment for like-minded artists to express and achieve outstanding work, YTLHB’s goal is to create quality films for Taiwan with the potential to reach pan-Asian market.
